AS THIS YEARS FEATURED PERFORMER

We have tried for several years to have Rhonda Vincent & The Rage perform for our annual R.O.P.E. Awards Show, and this year we have been rewarded by Rhonda accepting our invitation to be our featured artist for October 6, 2011 at the Al Menah’s Shriner’s Temple.  The excitement of knowing that we will be entertained by one of country and bluegrass music’s premier superstars is great news for all of our R.O.P.E. members, and for her fans.

Rhonda & The Rage are the most celebrated band in bluegrass with over seventy awards in such a short period of time.  She has been honored with the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), and has won the IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Award seven consecutive times.

In 2001 Rhonda signed a high-profile endorsement contract with Martha White baking products to follow in the footsteps of the company’s first sponsored bluegrass icons, Flatt and Scruggs.  She carries the torch of Martha White as far and wide as anyone could have ever envisioned.  When you see the Red, White, and Blue Martha White bus roll into every show, you can be assured that Martha White products are being supported by the beautiful and talented First Lady of Bluegrass.

She has surrounded herself with one of bluegrass’s elite bands.  Loyalty and super musicians make up The Rage, and the front and center of every show is occupied by the talented lady that brings a new meaning to bluegrass.  The band is a special blend of musicians who enjoy who they work for, and what they do to make her the superstar that she is, and Rhonda understands how fortunate she is to have this great grouping of friends and musicians surrounding her efforts.
