ATTWATER CHRISTMAS EP AVAILABLE NOW FOR DOWNLOAD

Nashville, Tenn. (Wednesday, November 16, 2011) – Twenty Ten Music recording group Attwater recently released their new five-song EP, Christmas, just in time for the holidays.  The band lends their style and Erika Attwater’s pure vocals to seasoned classics, “O Holy Night,” “Little Drummer Boy,” Loretta Lynn’s “It Won’t Seem Like Christmas,” and a country spin on Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” and The Raveonettes, “Christmas Song (Walk Me Home).”

Although fairly new to the public eye, principal member, Erika Attwater, felt this EP was a natural addition for the season.  “Everything about Attwater has grown organically and we couldn’t let the holidays pass without contributing something, so that’s what we sought out to do,” Attwater explains.  “We genuinely hope this EP serves to extend pure love and joy in this amazing season, from our hearts to you and yours.”

Christmas, produced by Charlie Peacock (The Civil Wars, Switchfoot), is available for download on iTunes and from Attwater’s official website.

Rachael Johnson to Appear at Eddie Montgomery

Nashville Recording Artist Rachael Johnson to Appear at Eddie Montgomery’s
With Special Guest Star, Former Mercury Recording Artist, Chris Caskey

Nashville Recording Artist Rachael Johnson will join Lexington, KY native, Chris Caskey for a one night only show this Friday, Nov. 18th at the famed Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse, located in Harrodsburg, KY.

"We are thrilled for the opportunity to play this incredible venue!  I've heard amazing things about the food, people and entertainment at Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse and can't wait to finally be a part!  I am looking forward to bringing our Nashville show to the great state of Kentucky!"Rachael Johnson

A North Carolina native, Rachael Johnson, grew up in the original “Mayberry”, a place memorialized in Americans hearts as the beloved home town on the Andy Griffith Show. Although she loved NC, her heart was in Nashville and it only took one Garth Brooks concert for Rachael to decide that that’s where she had to be. Within a month of earning her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice at Chowan University, Rachael would land a job and relocate to an empty apartment not far from Nashville’s famous Music Row and the beginning of living her dream.
Over the next year Rachael would meet other artists, musicians and some of Nashville’s finest hit songwriters giving her the opportunity to assemble a band, perfect a show and hone her writing craft, expanding her catalog of original material. Music was finally paying the bills! She quit her day job and became an in demand solo artist, playing 20 to 25 shows a month in Nashville, surrounding cities and occasionally, out of state, sharing the stage with Country Stars like Jo Dee Messina, Josh Thompson, Little Texas, Dave Gibson, Chris Young, Craig Campbell and Trent Tomlinson to name a few.

She would begin to amass loyal fans, frequenting her full band live shows and the respect of established songwriters by showcasing her own original songs at Nashville’s famed writer’s nights. In 2011, The Rachael Johnson Band had the distinctive honor of being named the weekly house band at Nashville’s world famous Wildhorse Saloon.

Chris Caskey first tasted musical success when he signed an artist development deal with Mercury Records in 1998. A shift in label personnel would end Caskey’s time with the label and find him heading back to Lexington. However, a second chance would come twelve years later. After first hearing Chris Caskey sing at an event at the KY Music Hall of Fame in Aug of 09’, Nashville Artist Corey Frizzell, heir to the Lefty Frizzell musical heritage, teamed with Caskey and quickly began working in Nashville to put a Chris Caskey project together. By November of 2010 Frizzell successfully attained investment and put together a winning team to record, market and promote Caskey, launching his first single “God’s Pocket” to radio, debuting in January of 2011. Caskey’s first single would crossover and top out at #52 on the national Christian Voice Country Gospel Top 100 and currently holds the #98 place on the national Powersource Country Top 100. Chris is presently recording his debut album with Easton Corbin’s famed Producer, Carson Chamberlain, due to be released in winter on 2011.

“Once a generation a true country talent comes along who has the rare ability to sing with nearly impossible vocal licks & raw emotion. George Jones once asked, who's gonna fill their shoes? After hearing Chris, you will know the shoe fits well.” – Corey Frizzell

Show starts at 9:30pm EST. For more information, visit www.RachaelJohnson.Com

MOC to launch their eleventh Bedside Performance Program delivering the healing power of music

Nashville, Tenn. (Tuesday, November 15, 2011) – Kellie Pickler, Casey James, and a sold-out crowd celebrated four years of Musicians On Call’s (MOC) dedication to the Nashville community last Saturday, November 12.  The intimate affair, held at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville, raised over $10,000 for the cause which will, in-turn, be used to launch a new weekly Bedside Performance Program this January.  This new addition marks their eleventh LIVE music program since the MOC Nashville inception in 2007.

Pickler, who entertained the crowd with selections from her forthcoming album 100 Proof, expressed her gratitude to MOC noting, “Thank you so much for everyone who’s been a part of Musicians On Call. You’ve put a lot of smiles on people’s faces!”  100 Proof will be available beginning January 24, 2012.

"Kellie Pickler and Casey James put on a fantastic show and because of their generosity, we will be able to bring the healing power of music to even more patients," said Katy Epley, Program Director of Musicians On Call's Nashville branch. "We are so grateful for the Hard Rock Cafe and WSIX for all their support in making our 4th Anniversary concert a sold-out success!"

MOC Nashville has been able to serve over 43,000 individuals with the support of the local community and with the help of artists like Pickler and James.  The organization offers a variety of ways to be involved, including the new “Rock A Patient’s World” initiative where a company or individual(s) can sponsor a hospital room ensuring that patient a visit by a musician every week for one year through the MOC Bedside Performance Program.  The $500 sponsorship includes a decorative keepsake for your home or office and you are able to choose which of the six local hospitals to support.  For a full list of participating area hospitals and more information, please visit the MOC Nashville website.

About Musicians On Call (MOC):
Musicians On Call (MOC) was founded in 1999 with the mission of bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Branches have since opened in Nashville, TN, Miami, FL, and most recently, Washington, D.C.  To date, its volunteers have played for over 250,000 people. Musicians On Call continues its mission through room-to-room hospital performances by both local musicians and national celebrities as well as the CD Pharmacy Program. www.musiciansoncall.org.

About Kellie Pickler
Kellie Pickler grew up immersed in country music in the small town of Albemarle, North Carolina with the words of Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton shaping her musical footing.   At the age of 19 she gained fame as a contestant on the fifth season of American Idol where it was evident to all that she was a star.  In 2006, she signed to 19 Recordings and BNA Records to release her debut, Small Town Girl, which has gone on to sell over 800,000 copies worldwide and produce three singles, “Red High Heels,” “I Wonder,” and “Things That Never Cross a Man’s Mind.”  In 2008, Pickler released her self-titled sophomore record featuring country radio hits “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful,” “Best Days of Your Life” (co-written with Taylor Swift and her first Top 10), and “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You.”  Having established herself as not only a powerful vocalist but also a songwriter, Pickler recently wrapped up in the studio with famed producer Frank Liddell (known for his work with Miranda Lambert) and Luke Wooten to record her January 24, 2012 release, 100 Proof.
Pickler has co-written six of the 11 tracks on the album with the lead single, “Tough,” serving as the lead single.

About Casey James:
19 Recordings/BNA Records artist Casey James first emerged on the national scene with his third-place run on Season 9 of American Idol, but Casey had already been making music for more than a decade when he took his mom’s advice to try out for the hit series. A native of Cool, TX, James grew up surrounded by music; both his parents played guitar and sang, as did other family members, and Casey was playing guitar and performing throughout his young adulthood. His wide-ranging influences include such artists as Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, ZZ Top, and Bonnie Raitt, with a mix of ‘70s rock, blues, and outlaw country all helping to shape his style. Following his success on Idol, Casey set his sights on Nashville, touring with
Sugarland in early 2011 and playing his own shows while working on his upcoming debut album, set for release in 2012. Casey is currently giving fans a taste of what to expect on the album with the bluesy, goodtime feel of the first single, “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night,” co-written with Terry McBride and Brice Long. Keep up with Casey on his official website,

(NASHVILLE, TN) --  Film, TV, Broadway and recording star Sherrie Austin returns to Country music today with her first new music in 8 years, the full-length album, CIRCUS GIRL.
CIRCUS GIRL includes the holiday duet, “Naughty or Nice,” (with songwriter/ artist Shane Stevens, writer of Lady Antebellum’s “American Honey”).  The track is a fun, infectious holiday song that cheekily details the naughty (nice?) pleasures of the holiday season. The new music video features Austin and Stevens – best friends in real life – in separate hemispheres of the globe, experiencing very different types of Christmases.    Check out the video here on CMT.com: http://www.cmt.com/videos/sherrie-austin/709544/naughty-or-nice.jhtml
GAC will also be giving “Naughty or Nice,” the sneak peek treatment during today’s episode of GAC On the Streets, running throughout the day.   CIRCUS GIRL is featured on MSN’s Listening Booth today at: http://music.msn.com/music/listeningbooth/
Additionally, AOL is featuring CIRCUS GIRL as part of its FULL CD Listening Party this week at: http://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds#/8    And, AOL’s The Boot is giving away an exclusive free download of the album’s title track, “Circus Girl” here:  http://www.theboot.com/2011/11/09/free-song-download-sherrie-austin-circus-girl/
The Australian-born ACM nominee and Golden Guitar Award winner previously enjoyed success on the Country charts with her hits, “Streets of Heaven,” “Never Been Kissed,” and “Lucky in Love,” during her days on Arista Nashville and Broken Bow Records.  Most recently, Austin earned rave reviews for her starring roles on another type of stage - the New York Musical Theatre Festival’s production of Bonnie & Clyde and the Broadway productions of Ring Of Fire- The Johnny Cash Musical Show and Warrior.  Returning to Nashville in 2006, Austin has made a name for herself as an in-demand songwriter, penning songs for Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and George Strait.
It is, in fact, Austin’s stint as a career songwriter helped inspire many of the songs on CIRCUS GIRL. The collection is a female-empowerment record, from  “Friday Night Girls,” the anthem for the brokenhearted single gals cutting loose and letting their hair down, to the raw, spunky, honest sensuality of “Just Wanna Love You Tonite,” to the feisty, matter-of-fact kiss-off track, “Get Your Leaving Done.” The album is a series of stories interpreted by a strong woman, about women, and for women, and Austin feels it’s something her female fans have been clamoring for, for quite some time.
“The last few years I had been complaining about that fact that there weren’t any females speaking to women above the age of 30, so I started thinking about how I was writing my songs and came up with the idea for “Friday Night Girls” …I wanted to write a three minute song with every “Sex and the City” episode that had ever existed, so I did.  I quickly noticed that the women in my audiences loved it and so I switched my songwriting focus for a while to concentrate on that audience, who are my peers, to speak to them,” says Austin.
At the urging of her fans, Austin decided to enter the recording “big top” once again. This time she found that a process that once had frustrated her is now exciting her again. “It stopped being fun for me, making records and touring, which is why I focused on writing, but this is fun again. I have freedom now that I never had before. I’m making music for my fans, my music,” she says.
Additionally, Austin returns this week to the small screen – as a cast member of the 2nd season of Sundance Channel’s reality documentary series, “Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys.”  The show pairs Austin with her gay best friend, songwriter Shane Stevens (Lady Antebellum's “American Honey”) and documents their lives as songwriters and artists on Music Row in Nashville.  In fact, the premiere episode will document the making of the music video for Austin and Steven’s holiday duet, “Naughty or Nice,” when it airs this Friday, November 18th at 9 pm ET.

ABOUT NASHVILLE MUSIC GARDEN:
Located in Walk of Fame Park in downtown Nashville (corner of Fourth Avenue and Demonbreun), the idea for the Nashville Music Garden was born when country music legend Barbara Mandrell gave her namesake rose to garden founder and friend, Pat Bullard.  The garden is a “living” walk of fame filled with over six dozen varieties of roses and daylilies named in honor of the music and artists synonymous with Nashville.  Created as a way to recognize these artists, songs and industry leaders and also beautify Music City, the garden was the first to assemble all the flowers of the Nashville Music Garden Collection in one place for the public to enjoy.

Shawna Russell released Waitin’ On Sunrise

NASHVILLE, TN (November 15, 2011) – Way Out West Records’ artist Shawna Russell has released a new single “Waitin’ On Sunrise." It is available on Play MPE and impacts U.S. radio on Nov. 28.

“Waitin’ On Sunrise” is the second U.S. release from her critically-acclaimed self-titled sophomore album and was written by Russell, father Keith Russell and uncle Tim Russell. Produced in Nashville by Julian King, Clif Doyal and Tim Russell, the song shows off Russell’s sultry vocals in a Country mid-tempo Southern-styled track that is sprinkled with blue-eyed soulful guitar licks, B-3 organ and delicate mandolin, prompting Country Chart.com to call it a retro-cool Country melody that is performed with rare musical flair.”

In addition to her last Top-40 Music Row single and video, “Get Right Or Get Left,” Russell has released two singles in Europe in 2011, including “Sounds Like A Party” which landed at #3 on the Hotdisc chart and “Everybody’s Got A Story” which held down the #1 spot for two weeks in a row on the New Christian Music Charts in September.

Russell, a high-profile independent artist has built a reputation as a tireless and uncompromising artist who performs over 100 dates a year with her band traveling in a vintage Silver Eagle once owned by Willie Nelson. Backed by Way Out West, a label that she co-owns, Russell has successfully promoted 6 singles from two albums charting nationally on the Music Row, Billboard “New and Active,” and Texas Music charts, and internationally on Hotdisc and the New Christian Music charts. Russell’s videos have received widespread airplay at TCN, Yallwire, GACTV.com and CMT.com, among others.

In between tour dates, Russell recently logged a 42-stop radio tour of the Midwest to promote her music and was in Nashville during “CMA Awards Week” to host two episodes of the “Breaking Out” show for The Country Network. With recent reviews and features in the CMA Close Up, Tulsa World, Maverick and Oklahoma Today, Russell not only maintains a high profile for her own busy career, but she has also branched out to work with other artists, including new Country band, LiveWire, who was just signed by Way Out West.

To the casual observer, it might seem like Russell is working way too hard, but for the talented singer/songwriter known as the “Okie Songbird” it is all in a day’s work. Russell observes, "People don't realize how much work it takes to be an artist these days. I never get overwhelmed because it never really feels like a job. I am just happy to have the opportunity to live my dream - so I don't mind going above and beyond to achieve success."

About Shawna Russell:

Shawna Russell released her self-titled sophomore album on Way Out West Records in June 2011. Co-produced by Julian King (Grammy-winning engineer for Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith), along with Clif Doyal & Tim Russell, the album has won critical praise from Roughstock, Maverick, Music News Nashville, Today’s Country and the Oklahoma Gazette. Russell wrote - or co-wrote - the 10 songs on the project. She is currently promoting the second single “Waitin’ On Sunrise.” In addition to the album’s first single and video “Get Right Or Get Left,” Russell has released two singles in Europe in 2011, including “Sounds Like A Party” which climbed to #3 on the Hotdisc chart and “Everybody’s Got A Story” which held down the #1 spot for two weeks in a row on the New Christian Music Charts in September.

Russell first came on to the national and international music scene with the release of her debut album, GODDESS in 2008. Critical acclaim followed: the CMA named her “Who New to Watch,” and top music critics weighed in with praise for her debut. Chris Neal of COUNTRY WEEKLY gave GODDESS a 3 ½ star review, MUSIC ROW’s Robert K. Oermann bestowed a “DISCovery Award,” his highest compliment to a new artist, and rave reviews followed from CMA CLOSE UP, MAVERICK (UK), NASHVILLE MUSIC GUIDE, DREAMWEST (France), THE OKLAHOMAN, MUSIC NEWS NASHVILLE, COUNTRY STARS ONLINE and others. Three radio singles from the album including "Goddess," "Should've Been Born With Wheels" and "Fire In The Desert" cemented her status as a contender, with action on the Billboard "New and Active,' Music Row and Texas Music Charts. Russell’s debut video "Should've Been Born With Wheels" reached the #1 position on the “Ya’llturnative” chart at Ya’ll Wire.com and stayed there for over a month and also attracted fans at CMT.com, AFN, GAC.com (debuted at #3 as a “Top Pick”) and on Pulse Network Television (“Top 20 Country Chart” for 3 months).
